Announcing 'Cooking for Kids' - CFK, October 2010 Edition

I am glad to announce that Sharmi's 'Cooking for Kids' event is being hosted at Veggieplatter this month. Since we are in the midst of festivals and especially October month is synonymous with dasara / navaratri celebrations to Hindus, Sharmi and I decided to focus on Festive Foods - Sweet / Savory versions for this month's CFK event.
I am hoping the theme is an appealing one to every age group :) and looking forward to your participation.

To participate in the event, just follow these simple guidelines.
1. Create and post any kid friendly, festive dish in your blog. The dish can be either sweet or savory version and needs to be vegetarian / vegan. Non bloggers can email me the recipe.
2. Link to this event announcement page and Sharmi's main announcement page in your post. Also to spread the word, please use the logo in your post.
3. Please send me an email notifying about your entry at toveggieplatter@hotmail.com with the subject 'CFK' and the following details - your name, URL of the recipe and a picture of the dish. The last date to send in entries is October 31st, 2010.
4. Multiple entries and recipes submitted to other entries are also welcome. Recipes from archives can also be sent if they are reposted.

Because of the time constraints, I could not create the event logo. Hopefully, I would be able to do it in a couple of days. In the mean time, please keep sending your delicious entries.
Please note that people who are interested to host CFK event during November can contact Sharmi at sharmikomal@gmail.com
